About Bogie and Eureka

Officially BE Founder Pair No. 4, Bogie and Eureka are survivors of Bird Endowment's Founder Pair No. 1 (Ira and Eureka) and BE Founder Pair No. 3 (Bogie and Bacall).

Eureka joined Bogie in the Broillet Aviary in February of 2002. In the 2003 breeding season, they produced and parent-reared their first offspring, a female.

Norah Broillet named her Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. Norah and her husband Bruce Broillet funded construction of the Broillet Aviary and the acquisition of Bogie and Bacall.
