About Clapton and Virginia

Virginia hatched Jan. 1, 1997 to the wild-caught pair Sid and Cookie in Virginia. She joined The Blues Conservatory in August of that year.

After some time in the flock, she and Precious were moved into their own breeding cage. They spent seven years together but never nested and appeared to have become incompatible.

In March 2005, Virginia moved back into the flock.

Eric Clapton Blues hatched in July 2005 at The Blues Conservatory and stayed in the Broillet Aviary with his parents Bogie and Eureka until the end of April 2006 when he moved into the Flock habitat.

In 2009 Clapton and Virginia moved into their breeding habitat.
